2017 No-Prep Triple Crown presented by Lane Automotive

Thanks to the collaboration of Lane Automotive and US 131 Motorsports Park, the inaugural $30,000 No-Prep Triple Crown Series will launch its first event on June 28, 2017. The three race series will offer a $10,000 guaranteed payout for each Wednesday evening race.

Event Schedule
June 28 - July 26 - August 23

The No-Prep Triple Crown will pay the final eight racers each night as well as the final pair in the Second Chance ladder.
Winners Bracket
Winner: $5500
Runner-Up: $1200
Semi-Finals: $500
Quarter Finals: $250
Second Chance Bracket sponsored by Edelbrock
(First Round Losers Only)
Winner: $1000
Runner-Up: $300

Each event will also see support from the Lane Automotive Contingency Program.
The full bodied race cars must have factory quarters and roof, a factory VIN and weigh a minimum of 2750Lbs. Drag slicks are allowed, but traction compounds are not.

The entry fee is $100 per event.

Each Wednesday evening event will see the US 131 Motorsports Park gates open at 3:00pm with open timed runs from 4:00pm to 6:15pm. The No-Prep elimination rounds begin at 7:00pm sharp.

Car & Event Rules

1. 1/8 mile racing.
2. Full-bodied cars with factory roof and quarters.
3. Factory VIN tags mandatory.
4. Minimum vehicle weigh: 2750 lbs.
5. General IHRA safety rules enforced.
6. Slicks Allowed.
7. No "Pimp Juice " traction compounds.
8. Burnouts must stay behind starting line.
9. Staging lights, with instant green.
10. Red & Win lights activated. No time slips.
11. Track surface will have no traction compound applied, but may be dragged if necessary.
12. Ladder racing structure built with blind draw.
13. Lane choice TBD prior to water burnout.
14. Track officials decisions are final.
